Rybelsus is a prescription medication for adults with type 2 diabetes that helps lower blood sugar levels.
Please note: a valid prescription is required for all prescription medication.
Rybelsus is the only GLP‑1 medication you can take as a pill, making it a great option if you’re not a fan of injections. It’s a branded version of oral semaglutide and is approved to help adults with type 2 diabetes lower their A1C levels. Of course, like most diabetes treatments, it works best when combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise.
You’ll find Rybelsus available in three strengths: 3 mg, 7 mg, and 14 mg tablets. There are actually two types of formulations—R1 (3, 7, 14 mg) and R2 (1.5, 4, 9 mg)—but they’re not interchangeable, so make sure to follow your doctor’s advice on which one to take.
